Making Our Days Matter
• Series: Stand Alone
Psalm 90 invites us to lift our eyes from the rush of daily life and consider two powerful realities: God is eternal, and our lives are brief. When we hold those truths together, we are led to wisdom, humility, and purpose. In this message, we walk through Moses’ prayer in Psalm 90 and reflect on what it means to live intentionally in light of God’s everlasting nature and the fleeting nature of our days. This sermon explores: 1. God as our eternal dwelling place across every generation (Psalm 90:1–3) 2. The brevity of human life and how quickly our days pass (Psalm 90:4–6) 3. A prayer for wisdom that teaches us to number our days and live with purpose (Psalm 90:12) Wisdom is not simply knowing how short life is. Wisdom is choosing to live each day anchored in God, attentive to His presence, and intentional with the time we’ve been given. As followers of Jesus, we are invited to make our days matter by living with eternity in view.
